I love tea. I think I've been hanging around Mandy and Debbie too long. Have you tried the ones that open up into flowers when you put them hot water? So much fun and so pretty. I love tucking them in gifts as an extra little bonus.
I love my teacup. I bought it from Anthropologie.com several years ago.

Hi Judy,
I haven't tried that tea, but it is beautiful with that gorgeous flower. It reminds me of Marie Antoinette (the movie). I'll have to pick some up today and give it a try.
Have a great weekend ;)

Hiya Judy, The Barefoot Contessa used Chambord on one of her programmes which is where I saw the bottle for the first time. She made a Kir Royal using it instead of Cassis X Ive got the Jack Daniels here when you feel like a cuppa X
Ooh I will have to give that cocktail a go. Im a big fan of Ina, but the programmes shown in the UK were repeats all the time, then I saw a few I hadnt seen more recently. She has a fantastic life, her home and garden is gorgeous. Geoffrey is so sweet. She makes everything look so easy and Ive tried a few of her recipes. Who knew you could roast sprouts? I can even get Mr K to eat them done that way. I did want to make her coconut cake but I just cant get the shredded coconut in the UK. We only have dessicated which I dont know if you are familiar with it, but its hard and disgusting similar to wood shavings and not the soft moist coconut Ina uses. I had a little trouble with her sweetcorn pudding but Im going to try making it again, her buttermilk and cream potatoes were yummy X
Those tea flowers are so pretty. I have some but never use them. It's like "they're too pretty to use" nonsense!
Oh that looks so darn good and I could go for a cup of it right now!!!

Hi Judy,
Thanks for stopping by. You can do whatever you want for your giveaway. I still have some first timers that entered...how do they find out about giveaways?? I also enjoy tea. More in the winter months to come. Well, I better pick a winner, just wanted to say that you can to whatever you want. It's your blog and it isn't mean!!
Warmly,
Deb
well guess what? baldyman and I went mall walking tonight to a Mall that I've been wanting to walk thru for years. They had some people passing out tea samples and of course i tried some. I go inside and see these amazing tea pots, the cast iron ones..WOWZER...the cheapest I saw was 69.00. I found a strainer i can place in my cup for now. So I go to buy 2 of the teas i tried--they mix the leaves--and I say how much is that? Its the price on the container--its like 6 something so I'm thinking okkkk...about 15.00 or so dollars. Well, they MIX the leaves to get the flavors--when all was said and done it came to like 46.00. I nearly fainted. I should have told them to keep one of the mixes. I will BATHE in this stuff until its gone!!! I told baldyman to please buy me a tea pot-the cast iron one for Christmas. I cant believe how expensive good teas are.
ohh let me add, to the above comment...I think its great you have 1st timers at your blog even if giveaways are drawing them. Its a building process and i know I've entered my name in giveaways if i'm out checking out blogs and come across them. whenever i have time I blog search. I want to expand my readers and followers and I hope to meet lots of new friends on here.
love those blooming teapots :)

My friend brought these blooming teas back from China. Where did you get yours? I think with a tea set they'd make a great gift for any occasion. I'm hooked on the Celestial Season Christmas Teas. The sugar cookie (2bags) is my fav with sweetener (of your choice)and a little cream. Time for a spot of tea, you can bring Vintage Kitten and JACK...if they behave LOL! ;O
Sweet Wishes,
Sara
