Vintage Aprons and Dishes

I found the aprons at a flea market and added them to my collection. I'll have to get out the rest of them some day and take pictures. I have a couple that my Grandmother wore.
I love the dancing lady. She must be having fun cooking!!

The pockets of these two are so unusual I couldn't resist.
The back three are not a set but they could go together. The tallest is a salt shaker, I'd sure love to have the pepper shaker. Wonder where it went. I also bought a new teacup but put it away before I took a picture. I need to put all my teacups out and show you my teacup collection someday. I love drinking my tea from a pretty cup. It makes it seem kind of special. The plate was an unusual shape. It would be easy to hang. I hope you like my latest finds. I was planning on going to Longmont this weekend to an antique show but I think it's not going to happen so I'm disappointed.

Hello Judy and thank you for your kind comments in my blog. I have a cat called Pretty Kitty that looks a bit like you pretty black and white cat. I love your aprons. Especially the ones with the flower pockets and the one made out of white organdy or at least it looks like organdy or nylon. Sew Pretty!!! Have a lovely rest of the week.
Sincerely,
Pat

Hi Judy!
Love those vintage aprons! They look like some that my mom would where for special occasions when I was little. My favorite ones were the her semi-sheer organdy ones. They looked so pretty for being an apron. Your china pieces are adorable!

Hi Judy, Thank you for visiting the VintageNest and leaving a sweet comment. I love your new found aprons and the fact that you have some of your Grandmother's. How special is that? I don't think I have anything of my grandmothers. ~ Lynn

Hello Judy,
I love the vintage aprons. They're so shabby chic. I have to say that the second one down is my favorite, with it's bright floral designs. I wear aprons when cooking now, because I'm so tired of staining my clothes. I also love the tea set. It's very pretty and femenine.
Have a wonderful day,
Lydia
