I didn't mean to take such a long break but time has really gotten away from me. I've had some things going on that took a lot of time plus trying to do some baking and wrapping etc.
It has been so cold here. We are breaking records made in 1897 and 1901.....Whooppee. It has warmed up from minus 18 to almost 40. We are suppose to have another frigid weekend too. It's been a good week to do lots of baking for the holidays. Before Thanksgiving we were breaking heat records when we were topping 75 degrees. Weird weather this year and I think I'm almost ready for Spring. We aren't getting a lot of snow just cold and more cold.
This morning on the way to work I stopped at a light and there was a teenager in shorts, short sleeved shirt and thongs. He had his hands in his pocket, I wonder if he was cold? I'm wondering if his Mother knew he was running around like that?
I hope you are all getting your shopping, wrapping and baking done. I've tried to visit a few blogs and everyone has such beautiful decorations and trees.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and stay warm.
Hugs,

Its not difficult for time to get away from us at this time of year so much to do and think about.
Love the kitty picture adorable!

Well, it's cold here too and I'm not fond of it. It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow, then cold again on the weekend with rain. It is winter time, so I supposed we shouldn't be surprised. Love your little kitty cat, so cute. You stay warm and safe and entertain yourself...reading all those blogs is one great thing to do!! Take care and have a great, Happy Holiday!!! Pat
I popped by yesterday as I was wondering if my dashboard wasnt working and maybe it had forgot to tell me you had posted, then when I saw the Nigella cake still there I thought Oh No Judy has eaten the lot in one go and isnt very well!!! LOL! But glad to hear you have just been busy. It is so cold in the UK too and last night was so windy my Xmas tree outside blew over X
We've been cold to, very cold, but unlike you-we have been bombarded with snow. In fact, we have a storm advisory for today and tomorrow--another foot is coming our way.
Busy, I'm so tired of being busy. I need things to slow down...I feel like life is whizzing by and I'm missing just enjoying the daily sights and sounds.
We are freezing here too! As soon as Christmas passes I am always ready for spring to show up. Of course, it takes a while, but at least we are headed in that direction!
What a precious photo of the kitty. I will stop complaining about our cold weather after reading how severe yours is!
I wondered where you've been! At least kitty is staying warm!!!
Ha! Ha! It may be cold outside but your kitty is warm inside! What a cozy picture!
Our nights are cold (32 degrees), but during the day it warms up to 40. I think that we must live in a very moderate climate. When it gets cold and we get an ice storm, it doesn't last long. At least my fingers are crossed for this year.=)
Hi Judy,
It's cold here too and I'm ready for Spring too. We don't get it much anymore though... seems we go from Winter right to Summer and vice versa!
What a cute little kitty all snuggled up. Try to stay warm and have a lovely holiday too!

minus 18....oh my...I can't imagine that. BRRRRR. Merriest of Christmases and a fabulous New Year Judy. Keep that oven going! ~ Lynn
Hi Judy, Oh what a sweet photo of your cat!
I was hoping for a white Christmas this year, especially with my mum arriving soon, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen... boo! Keep warm!
x
Can I snuggle with your kitty please? I am freezing too! I have had to break down and leave the heating pad on in the chair for my senior kitty as he can barely move with this cold weather. I am so behind on Christmas prep and all I want to do is snuggle and keep warm.
Brrrrrr!
I see lots of teenagers wearing shorts here in Idaho. They must be a tougher breed.
Merry Christmas!
Melissa
I think our kitties have the right idea. Find a warm blanket and snuggle in till the thaw.
We've got cold, snow, ice too. I'm hoping it clears for Christmas, so my children can make the trip home.
I thought this weather called for a few blog visits while enjoying my eggnog. I'm glad your back and not frost bit.
Sweet Holiday Wishes,
Sara
P.S. I'm putting together a blog roll. I hope you don't mind me adding your name.
P.S. I forgot to tell you...my kitty kept bugging to go outside and I kept replying, "you really don't want to go out in that snow!" She wouldn't quit so I opened the door just as a snow drift kicked up and sprayed her face. She turned her head and flew behind the door. Looking up at me with a stare as if to say "I hate it when you're right!" She hasn't bothered to go out again.
Sweet Wishes,
Sara&Angel
Hi Judy, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Judy,
I am getting a little ahead of myself. But on Monday, I will be posting an award for you.
Love Melissa
It is warming up here and I still hope it will get colder for Christmas. Our first snowdrop is in full bloom at Cranberry Cottage. I know it is hard to find enough time in December. I never got my Christmas cards written. It is the first year I have to skip doing them. But enjoying the season is most important even if that means not getting everything done. Take a little time to do just what your kitty is doing ~ relax!
Christmas hugs ~
Heidi
Judy,
I know what you mean. Some years I never get in the Christmas spirit. I hope you can find a little bit of it though.
I am so glad that you are my friend and I wish you a wonderful holiday filled with peace and love.
Merry Christmas!
Melissa
Love the picture of Anna.
Hope you stay toasty and have a wonderful rest of the year Judy. Many warm wishes to you.
