Anna's Traumatic Experience

Happy Holidays everyone. My Mom was going to post a giveaway post tonight but I pushed her off of the computer because I had to tell you what happened to me. It was the most awful experience. I really don't know what was so exciting about the gifts anyway. There was nothing Bailey and I could play with or eat, but she was really excited. She kept saying things like Oh how pretty or how cute or how wonderful....Women!!

Speaking of eating.....My Mom whom I love very much (most of the time) took me to the doctor last night for my yearly checkup. What a traumatic experience. Bailey and I both hate it. She puts us in our carrier and takes us for a ride in the car. I pretty much howl all the way to the doctors. He weighs me and pokes around my eyes and ears and tummy. Then he comes in and sticks needles in my butt. Well on top of all that he said I WAS FAT AND I HAD TO GO ON A DIET. I weigh 11 pounds now do you call that FAT? So do you know what I did when I got home and Mom let me out of that stupid carrier?

I ran for the food bowl and I really chowed down. YUMMY!! We also had to stop at the kitty food store because Mom had to buy us some special food. I also have gingivitis and have to eat Dental Care food and I have to go back to the doctor in 6 months. If I'm not better he will have to clean my teeth. Oh the stress I'm going through is unbelievable.

I'm sorry to interrupt my Mom's giveaway post but she said she would post it soon and to wish everyone a happy happy Christmas. Bailey and I wish you a Merry Christmas too!! If you have Crab or Lobster for Christmas would you please call us because my Mom is having prime rib....YUCKY!!!

Poor kitty! Marvin hates the thermometer in the butt too! I don't think 11 pounds is bad. (But then again marvin is 14 pounds so now every cat looks skinny to me - lol!)
Merry Christmas!

Hello Anna, Who likes a skinny cat? Not me! I think you are perfect, but you better take care of those teeth. No fish is being served at my house for Christmas so keep looking for a better meal. You are a cutie pie! I am sure you will find a good meal somewhere. Merry Christmas to you, Bailey and your mum.

Poor, poor Anna and Bailey. Since when is 11 pounds considered fat for a cat? I hope Anna likes her new food.

I wish you and your babies a very Happy New Year.

aww, poor Anna! Christmastime really is fun, it must be a human thing though! Hope your Christmas was wonderful Linda, we had t-bones on the grill on Christmas eve, we didn't get the prime rib memo in time apparently!

Hello dear Anna. I think you should have told that mean ol' vet "Who's calling who fat???" I think kitties should just have a great life and the heck with the vet...lol. I hope you don't have to go on a diet as you look really beautiful. My Dagi hates being in the car too. He loves to scream it out to the world. And he goes along to the cottage each weekend. Fun! You take care and Bailey too.

Hugs ~
Heidi

Oh Anna, you poor girl! We really must have a chat with that family you live with, seriously, do they not understand the needs of our delicate nature? Please feel free to "stroll" on over to our house for New Year's eve bash. Pretty sure those mortals I live with have some sort of fish lurking on the counter. If we team up, I'm sure your herd and mine can make a clean get away with them.

As for the vet, my only suggestion is scream at the top of your lungs followed by a sound chomp or two with those pearly whites of yours! Worked like a charm for me, in fact the doc told my mom in plain English NOT to bring me back unless I was unconscious. HA, humans are such big wimps! Besides, don't they keep up with fashion these days? Size 11 is the "new" size 4, dontchaknow!
Anyway, Happy New Year to you and Baily, saving a fish just for you!
Love,
Foxie

Well, my kit and I tip the scale a lot further than you did Anna. Fish for dinner is a good start to your diet. My hubby wants salmon for his New Years dinner, would you settled for that? I'd even throw a garnish of cat nip on yours and Baileys! It's calorie free.
What treasures you won. I tried my hand at tatting once. I never made it past the first lesson. LOL!

Sweet New Year Wishes To You All,
Sara
