Look What I Did Today!!

I went to the Farmers Market bright and early this morning and before I got everything put away Bailey raided one of my bags and had a good time rolling my green tomato around. I guess he thought I bought him a new ball.
After breakfast and all my goodies were washed and put away I made blueberry jam, peach preserves, blueberry crisp and put the rest of the blueberries in the freezer. Busy busy day but I had a good time. I love making goodies for winter enjoyment. I think my favorite part of the week is going to the Market on the weekends. So many things to buy and try. It's so easy to over buy but I usually eat everything I bring home.
What did you do today?

My dog Pippin stole a potato the other day, I found it in my bed!!!! Hes a terrier so everything has to be buried or hidden. Its abit of a shock when you get into bed when its dark and you sit on a potato. Your jams look wonderful. I love farmers markets. X

Hi Judy,
I went to the farmer's market this morning too but didn't bring anything home. Mainly went to look, you ever do that? The flowers were gorgeous though, should have brought some home, but this heat is over the top this weekend. Blueberry crisp sounds so delicious and all your other goodies as well. That Bailey is darling with the tomato. Happy weekend and great Summer to you.

Lots of goodies to look forward to! I don't have a local farmers market but I would definitely go if I did have one!

Awww! I love that Bailey! He is so cute and entertaining.

You certainly did have a busy day! How fun to make jam for winter enjoyment.

I overbooked myself on Saturday and had to skip a baby shower. I seem to think I can do what I used to do.

I picked three zucchini yesterda and make another pan of zucchini pizza. YUM!

Oh Judy you are so smart to do this.Your jams looks sooooooooo good and come this winter yummy.I never could put stuff up in jars.I guess I have to just buy my jams and jellys from the smarts ones...LOL.I have plenty of pears on my trees ,to bad your not down here. The ctitters eat them.
To your question...It took awhile to wash off, longer than I thought and left a numbing effect. It does help the dogg. She really does suffer in this heat.I feel so bad for her.She is on Meds also.I have an Austril collie mix.I may do a post on her one day.She is very sweet. And Red.I call her the Red Devil...because she is red and has gold eyes.LOL.But her name is Hobie.Take care sweetheart..XXOO Marie Antionette

Hello Miss Judy~I'm still on blog-cation but was needing some fur and friend therapy.
My timing seems to be purr-fect. I wouldn't have wanted to miss the kitty antics with the tomato hockey puck, compliments of farmers market.

I have tried to enjoy my time off, but so far it's been dedicated to a bathroom remodel, organizing craft/shop inventory and the much needed (never ending) DEEP cleaning.
I hope to be back blogging soon. I want to share summer photos of my back yard, before it disappears...which happens quickly in the northwest!!

I'm going to make blueberry shortbread cobbler tonight. Dessert... it's the best thing about dinner.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

I would love to make jam. I've only attempted it twice and both times I went into labor so I think I may have to be careful about taking it up again.

Hello Judy,
Your kitty is sooooooo cute!
Your jelly looks great!!!!! My son loves jelly so much, his belly is always full of jelly!!!!!!!!
He sure would love your jam and so would I! I want to learn how to make currant jam. I have a lot of currants and I need to find a good jelly recipe.
Have a great evening,
