Lemonade

I read two blogs yesterday about lemonade and had to make some. All I had was 1/2 lemon so this morning when I ran to the store for milk and yogurt for the week, I picked up a bag of lemons and came home and made me some. Then I went out to patio to sit and enjoy.
I use my bird bath as a little table sometimes. All I did was squeeze the juice from 3 lemons, added a little sugar to taste and filled the pitcher with water. I used a quart container. Added a sprig of mint from the herb garden and enjoyed. One of the blogs mentioned drinking from a wine glass and since I'm on antibiotics this week and no wine it sounded like a good idea. It was cool and refreshing and so good. Thank you ladies.
Enjoy your Sunday and have a great week.

Hi Judy,

The lemonade looks so refreshing. Our high was 115 today (definitely lemonade weather).

I am so excited about your booth. I know it will be a success.

hugs to you,

Hey, I love your little hummingbird flying in your header! While we were sitting on the patio last night, a little hummingbird came and flew around the red flowers. It is the first one I have seen this summer.

The lemonade sounds delightful! I love lemonade on a hot day.

We have been blessed with low humidity for the past few days. It seems so strange for July, but I am not complaining.

Enjoy your week!

Since I was one of those bloggers, I am pleased to stop by and see you have some homemade lemonade. It is just so refreshing and drinking it from a wine glass is luxury in the summertime. Enjoy! It is only a shame that we cannot sit together and drink some. I wish I really could have you sit with me in my garden. Glad you found my new blog.

Hugs ~
Heidi

Hi Judy, A glass of lemonade or limeade sounds wonderful right now. I love to use wine glasses for everything including layered desserts or ice cream or sorbets. My fave's were some black ones someone gave me years ago and the last one got broken with my company over the 4th. Yesterday I found 4 gorgeous wine glasses with black stems ...Made in France...at our new Salvation Army. I was tickled to death. Good luck with your new booth. Wished I lived close enough to visit it. Happy Summer xo Lynn
