Sunday Dinner

First of all I'd like to thank all my visitors. A special thanks to Cindy and Romantic Homes, Anna at Thimbleanna, Junie at Junie Moon, and Anonymous. A very special thank you to Crystal at Fairbees my very first commenter and receiver of a gift. Well probably not yet but it is in the mail. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did selecting it.
This was a peach cheesecake that was so easy and delicious. I found the recipe in Bon Appetit but also saw it in Martha's mag. I hope you try it. I halved it because it called for a 13x9 pan but those with families or company could make that size. It is way too much for the 2 of us.
My pork tenderloin before and after. I wrapped it in prosciutto, salt and pepper of course, browned it and threw it in the oven 400 for about 30 minutes. It was very juicy and tasty.
We also had a mashed potato casserole. I just boiled a couple of Russets, mashed with milk, added sharp cheddar and scallions. Threw it in the oven with the pork. We also had roasted asparagus that I bought at the Farmers Market on Saturday. It was so easy and everything cooked at the same time.
It was a busy busy day at work today and I've been doing laundry since I got home so now I'm taking a short break and then finish my laundry, get things ready for work tomorrow and hopefully sleep. It is really hot today 93 and I think Anna and Bailey are feeling it. They met me at the door when I got home with hugs and love and have been sleeping since. Bailey has moved from the couch to the chair but Anna is quit content sleeping on their kitty perch.
Everyone have a great tomorrow. Oh and I almost forgot. I shopped today at Foursistersinacottage.com. If you haven't visited Amy you have to check it out. She has the most amazing treasures. She is on my list of favs. My list is far from complete but I'll be adding more soon.

Just looking at your food photos is making me hungry. It all looks so delicious. I love trying the recipes I find in magazines, keeps our menu from getting boring.

Oh Yum! I love seeing what others are having for dinner and getting menu ideas. And I chuckle every time you write something about Anna -- it's still so funny to me!

Judy, Welcome to blog land! What a wonderful dinner. There are just the 2 of us as well, and sometimes it is tough not making WAY too much food. Especially the desserts. My husband would have 1 or 2 pieces and I would eat the rest. That pie! It sounds sooo good in this summer heat. Thanks for all the tips of good places to visit! I look forward to more of your adventures. Love Stacy
